Today I finally managed to get myself to Sunrise Orphanage, an orphanage that Jennie is massively into. Many times I have been told of the joys of little children projectile vomiting onto you and been very keen to give it a go, but not until today, mainly thanks to how easy it is to fall asleep in high temperatures, have I experienced it.
Steve!
I spent the first part of my morning with Steve, Steve's mum had died and so he'd come to the orphanage, although his dad sometimes visits, he can't look after Steve, so he's hoping that he will be adopted. Steve is the easiest baby to take care of ever. He didn't really smile or laugh or anything, although he did love the rubber duck, but he never seemed to cry or be sick or anything!
After a while I left Steve to do his own thing (I didn't want to cramp his style) and I started playing with Ali.
Ali was much more of a party animal! He would happily participate in One Little Piggy! Later on however, Ali wasn't so happy, and when I picked in up, rather than giving out buckets of joy I got smatterings of poo.
You can tell how proud I am
from my massively cheesy
grin
After the pooing there was plenty more fun to be had in brand new (nicer than mine) clothes.
I didn't find out what this boy's
name was, but I was just happy
he didn't poo on me
Another boy who's name I can't
remember but who loved
having his photo taken
Catherine (I think) looking
super cool!
Jennie with Mark and Sophie with
Brenda!
Rachel displaying her fantastic dog sounds
At about half twelve all of them slept and so we ate lunch prepared on site. It was possibly the nicest African food I've had so far, brilliant rice, really good fish, and they avoided goat which was a good decision!
Then, me and Jennie were invited into the TV room where we watched The Invention of Lying (Not to be confused with An Inconvenient Truth!!) where they had an XBOX!!! Unfortunately Jennie wasn't too keen on XBOX, so we watched the mediocre Ricky Gervais movie instead.
Anyway, must go since a rather scary storm is brewing and I don't want to get caught in the rain!!!

Hi Connor
the children look pretty healthy - is that just an illusion? Are they fed well in the orphanage?
Really enjoying your blog.

If they got food prepared anything like the food we got then they're definitely fed well.
They all have milk and stuff. Although I didn't see what they ate, they did eat, and to be honest, the whole point of the orphanage is to look after them, so I'd be surprised if they weren't fed well.
Hi
I bet time is flying for you - so much to do and see and then a blog to complete! Very entertaining and i rather like your cheesy photo - you look great.
Keep having fun xx
